| Abstract | This pamphlet surveys the research and literature concerned with the effectiveness of different types of administrative organizations and the problems of articulation among different schools. Discussions and bibliographies are presented for the following topics: (1) the extended school year and day, (2) educational parks, (3) alternative organization models for urban schools, (4) organization of the superintendent and board of education, and (5) organizing for effective citizen participation.
